OLA-Chi are committed to protecting your privacy
OLA-Chi ("we", "our", "us" and "www.olachi.co.uk") is committed to protecting the privacy of all users of our website www.ola-chi.co.uk, or mobile applications (together, the "Sites"). Please read this privacy policy that explains how we use and protect your personal information. We are the "controller" of the information we process, unless otherwise stated.
OLA-Chi will NEVER supply any of your details to any other company without your consent first.
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best service and customer experience.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent, or if you submitted your details prior to this option, you will be given the chance to unsubscribe from our mailing list via a link on any e-mail sent to you. We will only contact you by WhatsApp with your consent.
In accordance with the Privacy & Electronic Communications Act - "We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam)"
The type of information we will collect about you includes:
- Name
- Address
- Phone number
- Email address
All payments and transactions are processed by Stripe - a secure and safe payment services provider, that allows us to accept credit and debit card payments.
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Safebuy Trader Code.
Email Marketing
In order to place an order, customers must register with OLA-Chi first. Registering with OLA-Chi means you become a subscriber to www.ola-chi.co.uk and agree to join our 'OC village' (our digital mailing list community and registered customers).
You may choose to unsubscribe at any time and you can request for all of the details we hold of you, to be deleted. We reserve the right to further use your personal data in the scope and manner permitted by the law, of which we inform you in this notice.
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
Where you have given your consent or where we have a legitimate interest for doing so (and are permitted to do so by law) we will use your information to let you know about our other products and services, or OLA-Chi initiatives that may be of interest to you and we may contact you to do so by email, WhatsApp, or push notification or in-app message.
We use online advertising to keep you aware of what we’re up to and to help you see and find our products.
We use your information to make sure the online ads we manage are relevant to you and so you may see OLA-Chi banners and ads when you are on our Sites or other third party websites and apps, such as on social media, or relevant third party ads on our Sites. We manage this through a variety of digital marketing networks and using a range of advertising technologies of third party advertising partners (“Advertising Partners”). The banners and ads you see are based on information we hold about you, or your previous use of our services (for example, your order history) or on banners or ads on our Sites that you have previously clicked on.
Your rights
